The ebay lady? Her shop is 3 doors down from a kfc. its just before an island which has a toby carvery and a holiday inn (or some other chain hotel place) attached to it. from the motorway to her shop, is 15mins with traffic.

    HTH

    xx

Well... I went along to the dress shop today after a 7 hour ? round trip! The shop has some totally amazing dresses in there... It was really nice, and the 2 ladys were nice. They let us do our thing in the changing room, and never pressurised us at all. Let us try on lots of diff dresses, and due to only 1 of my BM's only being able to attend out of 3, I tried some on too. They have every colour and style available. Honestly ladies, it was a big old drive ? for me and my BM today for us, but we had a real giggle, got lost alot, and had some nice lunch in the beefeater down the road.

Give this lady a go she has some lush dresses, and does a range of sizes. Really is worth it, and quality is incredible. I have my eye on a dress and hopefully the other BM's like it too ? xx

7 hours???!! Thats commitment for ya! A few people have said about horror story experiences with her, but I've been to her shop twice now (I'm only 20minutes away though), and had several email conversations with her an been thoroughly happy with the outcome. I think she/they can be a little slow coming back to you sometimes, but if you factor that into the equation, and you're happy with her work, then everyone's a winner.

I'm using her for my Bridesmaid dresses; NorthumberlandBride, from memory, I do believe her shop prices are the same as her ebay prices.

What kind of dresses are you having. i like these

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/royal-blue-evening-wedding-bridesmaids-dress-size-8-22-/170619133505?pt=UK_Wedding_Clothing&var=&hash=item6d6fa4de63#ht_4721wt_741

but i know that one of my BM is worried because shes a bigger girl and i dont want her to be uncomfortable

    i also like these

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/blue-chiffon-bridesmaids-dress-size-8-22-/180664609284?pt=UK_Wedding_Clothing&var=&hash=item6fc3d1460e#ht_8119wt_802

but i worry theyre too plain... then again you dont want anything too elaborate

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/simple-amazing-wedding-junior-bridesmaids-dress-8-22-/200627490905?pt=UK_Wedding_Clothing&var=&hash=item746b98aec5#ht_4929wt_741

Im having these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/9013-one-shouder-purple-bridesmaids-dress-size-8-22-/170675768092?pt=UK_Wedding_Clothing&var=&hash=item6d70471c4a#ht_7569wt_952 but without the flower on the shoulder.

One of my BMs has a very voluptuous figure with big boobs. She wears lots of one-shoulder things and was quite happy with the dress choice. I am paying the exrta few quid though to have them made to measure

Me and my BM both tried on the blue chiffon dress and the one shoulder dress, and both prefered the one shoulder dress. The strapless one is lovely, and looks lovely on, but again has no support for heavier girls up top. Im a 38D and didn't feel "as comfortable" in the strapless one, and one of my BM's is bigger than me up there, rest are smaller, but we both felt comfy in the one shoulder one as you can get bra's to suit that, and they flowed lovely and was very flattering.

The BM that came with me, she is a size 22, and if im 100% honest, she couldnt fit into a size 22 in the shop. If you have a large sized member of your party go for the "made to measure" option, then your safe. Im a size 18, but couldn't get near it, and got into a 20 comfortably, with maybe an inch tops to spare. The sizes, in my opinion wasn't very forgiving. Also the satin dresses are lovely, but didn't look at all nice on the BM I took, and wasnt very forgiving on her curves at all. But the quality I found in the shop very good, other than the sizes. And they have majority of colours.

Yes 7 hours was a long time, but it was fun, but if I 100% choose to go with her, then I will drive up there once again, as much as it is a heck of a journey, but I would make sure all BM's are there to be measured.

The price of the dresses are a quarter of what you would pay for a standard BM dress in a bridal shop

    HTH xx
