I am absolutely rubbish at gifts for a couple of friends, this one in particular, she is mid 30s and married with a young son, my godson. She doesn't have loads and loads of interests, but likes taking photos, and they have a little pug as a pet. Anyway her birthday is the beginning of July and I know they are away with her parents (inc dog and child) they are heading down to Cornwall for a couple of weeks, and will be down there over her birthday.
So, rather than buying something for her, I wondered whether kind of arranging for them to do something while they are down there, would be a good / better option? But what... I have no idea!!! I could get her hubby involved easily enough but I can't think of any ideas, the obvious is paying for them to go for a nice meal or something, but I was trying to think up something a bit different?!?!
If it is of any use, then the part they are going to is North Cornwall, approx 3 miles from Padstow but they frequently travel around when they are down there - so within reason anywhere is within reach. They (and I) know the area quite well as we have been there lots of times before, but I wondered if anyone had any bright ideas, or anything they have done, or recommendations?!
