Bisham Abbey, Bucks

I looked at it too, but when I toured around for a recent wedding fair thing I found it a little bit pokey, too many small rooms for people to get lost in... lovely grounds though!

That was my first viewing of the place.

Bit of a mix of rooms, some grand some, lovely, some not so nice - when we went they were having work done but the grounds are very nice!

No, the one I went to was in the autumn of last year... though i don't think anything would have changed unless they pulled it down and started again! Found some very good suppliers there though...

Hi, not sure if it'll be of help, but I've performed at a few weddings at Bisham Abbey and they've always been good nights. They also sometimes have a marquee behind the main building on the banks of the Thames which can be beautiful when it's a nice day. I've done a couple of weddings there in the marquee and at both the bridal party arrived by boat/barge.

Always check to see if you are getting exclusive use - the rooms are not big - their marquees will accomodate more.
