Ooh, are those hanging birdcages for tealights or similar? Have you bought them? How big? From where? Thanks.

They are indeed. I haven't bought any yet, but would suggest googling 'shabby chic birdcage', as lots of shopping results will appear. Like this one:

    £19.95 at http://www.vintagepinkonline.co.uk/love-hearts-birds/176-ornamental-bird-cage.html

Thanks, can find big ones but was looking for something smaller. Thanks again though. Pathological fear of buying anything novel off t'internet without a recommendation...

Ah I see. The other alternative are white lanterns, which seem to be easier to get hold of in smaller sizes. I once bought a small white birdcage from Monsoon that would be about the right size, but I don't know whether or not they still sell them as this was about 3 years ago now.

Just as long as one of the outfit changes isn't a Bucks Fizz style ripping-the-skirt-off job*. ?

    *Sigh, am I old?

I've had my dress made as the ones we get here in Kuwait are pretty revolting. When I was back in the UK over Xmas trying to find a bridesmaids dress I just fell in love with a couple of lovely dresses for me. I told the lovely woman in the shop that it just wasn't fair and she did actually say that some brides do have 2 dresses - 1 for the ceremony and 1 for the evening. I really couldn't justify spending so much so sticking to my original one.

    Venue

Wedding car (but without the manchester 2 NY sign)

favour and place card (will have an apple shaped luggage tag on it with ppl's name).

    Bridemaid's gift bags (Bloomingdale's bags)

Flower girls and Page boy gift bags

    Part of the BM's gifts
    Another part of BM gift.
