My dad was on my right hand side! we were a bit informal tho so im not sure if that was right and there wasnt exactly an aisle more of a field!

Traditionally he will be on your left hand side.

This was the only wedding related concern my dad had, once we'd established that he wanted to walk me into the registry office (my mum demanded on his behalf and then he went pretend huffy saying what if he didn't want to?) he was worried that there was a 'wrong' side to be on. Traditionally it's the left but I don't think it really matters.

This is something that's been playing on my mind too!

This is why I want a bunch of flowers as opposed to a traditional bouquet. I was going to keep the stems long and hold it like a baby in my free arm if that makes sense? Surely it would be the same coming out too but with the hubby's arm? ? Think the traditional bouquets look nice when you've got 2 free hands but I felt a little odd holding the stick thing with only one free hand. It was weird

I don't think it really matters! I assume it's because his seat will be on the left hand side when he gets to the front?
