I just had a minor panic and was about to demand what forecast you were looking at as the one I'd looked at said sun & 16oC. I then engaged brain and realised that the weather may actually be different in different parts of the country ?

I have no advice other than I'm sure the adrenaline will help keep you warm during the ceremony and then after that you could always wrap up in a pashmina if you're chilly?

We thought we'd escaped weather woes by going abroad, but doesn't look like it at the moment. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we can have the dinner outside because the inside is a dingy option.

I'm doing the opposite...my dress has long sleeves and is made of thick black velvet so I am hoping that it will be chilly else I am going to cook!

Crazyratlady, im hoping for weather like the last couple of days too, I have a lot of dress and im a warm person! OP, have you got a pashmina or something just in case? Not for all of it of course but the standing around in the middle bits? Failing that, im sure all the cuddles, the bubbly, and of course your OH will keep you warm!

Is your wedding mainly indoors? If so, then you will only be chilly for a few moments here and there. You might be OK once you get your 'beer jacket' on! Smiley smile Besides, you could always snuggle up to your hubby, and he will probably give you his jacket!

I will keep my fingers crossed for a mild day for you!

Oh my that'd be a sight to see, I'm teeny tiny and 4"11 and my oh is 5"11 and on the large side! Would make some good photos tho!!

Its a garden party/room in a pub garden. The room is quite small so we hoped to spill out into the garden.

im looking at (faux) fur stoles on ebay. Would that look silly?

Hi date twins!!!! I am having these concerns too so you are not alone Smiley smile I'm not too worried about being cold as I know once I have even just one glass of bubbly I will feel warmer and I think the adrenaline will help too. You will be rushing around saying hello to everyone, having photos taken here there and everywhere I think that will keep you warm too. I'm also thinking that after we're married it will be really nice to get some pics of hubby putting his jacket on me if it gets chilly Smiley smile I'm more worried about it raining as we are having a marquee reception we are pretty much having an outdoor day...but...if it does rain, if it is cold there is nothing we can do about it. I will just be running around trying to find brollies and wellie boots lol x

Don't worry about the weather! A pashmina shawl or something to help warm up? I do think the adrenaline will help though. My cousin got married outside last year and we all froze our butts off, but when she talks about it she says she doesn't know why the registrar was suggesting they'd get married inside as it was lovely!

You'll be fine, and everyone else will dress accordingly.
