Bloody UK weather

Yesp, it's going to be terrible all weekend. luckily we shall be in the south of france, drinking rose and munching on smelly cheese?

*sighs* The weather in Cornwall has been shocking for the past three weeks. We're rebuilding our house and living in the garden in a static caravan at the moment. And we dug up the garden to lay pipework for ground source heating two weeks ago and the garden is a total mudbath due to a fortnight of heavy showers.

AND we're off to the Beautiful Days Festival on friday for the weekend.

'Tis truly dreadful is it not? The one bright spot is that it's not actually THAT cold, just wet and errr.... Very wet! ? I wouldn't bother with coats - lightweight jackets and/or cardis/pashma things should be fine and no open toe shoes. But this might just be me.

Hope Wedding goes well notwithstanding. I went to a friend's wedding in Llanelli last month and it rained something rotten. All. Day. I felt really sorry for the bride, however the rain didn't spoil the day too much, I don't think.

We've started hoping for a good September or October at least. UK weather is pants. Although I think the whole world is suffering. Aparantely Sydney had snow recently! ?

I've re-thought the packing and put in some warmer clothes, but I'm lacking in suitable shoes. I'm going to get wet feet! ⛈

It's lucky if it rains on your wedding day!!! It'll be a great day - just bring a rain mac just in case.

FWIW its bloody freezing here in africa too. And dull. you lot have had more sunshine recently than we have.
