I like it. The fabric reminds me of Cath Kidson stuff - which I love.

It is very country garden (I think so anyway)

    Lovely and summery.

I LOVE it, Its very Cath Kidson and Candy Anthony!

Its not typical Bridesmaid style which is why I like it! I would love my bridesmaids to be in something like this but i dont think they would as it is not their style and ideally they want something they could wear again!

If I was being a bridesmaid, I would be more than happy to waer it! ?

Gorgeous! I absolutely love this dress, it's fantastic. Different in a really good way, and would look fabulous with a fifties themed wedding. Just a shame I'm not having enough people there to warrant having a bridesmaid, or I'd be pinching it!?

I'm still wondering if I can find some other event to wear this to so I can have a pretty dress!?

The dresses are Vivien Holloway frocks..... spangles has a polka dot one for her bms, and you need the belt, it cinches in the waist as all 50 style frocks would have...

i like it but im a vintagey chick anyhoo Smiley smile

Love it. Like Tee says, I'm having VoH black and white polka dot numbers for my BMs. We're not having belts with them and they are having wrist corsages instead of bouquets so nothing detracts from the dress.

    Very Cath Kidston!

I love it, think the vintagey style is fab! I am not a big fan of traditional BM dresses anyway, I forgot who it was not but someone mentioned losing the belt, I think it would look lovely with a thick piece of ribbon in similar colour to belt round to cinch in waist and make it looke a bit more dressed up than the belt x

Personally, as you seem to want honest opinions, I wouldn't wear it again. But I don't like a) 50's stuff and b) floral prints, so I am not going to be keen! It's not a horrible dress, just not to my taste. I think it would make a cute BM dress if it fits your theme.

Love it! I have a blue polkadot dress in this style, and when I wear it out with a massive petticoat I everyone loves it!! I think your BMs would feel fab in it! x

Breals, why sad face? It's beautiful! And the one person who didn't like it, it just wasn't to their taste - no insult on the dress! Don't take it to heart, hunni x

That is cute, but I think you'd have to check with your BMs whether they like it or not as I don't think it's something that everyone could wear. I love the 50s style, but that fabric isn't really to my taste (mainly because the colour would look awful on me and I prefer bolder designs!). I don't see any reason not to have it as a BM dress though if you and your BMs agree ?

Oh darling, it's taking it's toll, huh? Don't let it get you down. In my opinion it's stunning, but obviously not for everyone- for instance, my sister is the most un-girly girl you could meet, and if I asked her to wear that gorgeous creation, she'd kill me! I'll have to make her wear a bloody suit or something, I swear!

And like you say, if your BMs don't like it, f**k it- buy one for yourself for your first night out on your honeymoon!

Hugs babe, and chin up - either way I bet you're gonna look FAB! x

Yes Naboo (it was me who said loose the belt) your idea of replacing the belt with ribbon would dress it up and make it look fabulous !

It's a really pretty dress, and would look lovely with a 50's theme, Lovely colour and perfect for a spring/summer wedding ?
