BM dresses ... disaster

Have you tried looking on their website? They may have different sizes on there.

I had that with the bodices i wanted from bhs,

ask them to phone around and see if they can find them, they did for me!

You can get them to deliver them to your local store if needed as long as it has a wedding section!

Unfortunately they didnt have mine so bought elsewhere!

Yep, you cannot order that dress from the website. I'm going to ring their Head office tomorrow and see if they can help.

They have separates in the colour I like, but my heart was set on the actual dress - I'm annoyed at myself for not ordering sooner.

Mrs Brewer 2B can I ask ... did you just ask the store you went too to do the ring around or the head office.

I'm quite annoyed with the wedding man from the store though as I visited months ago and he said it would be ok.. why did I listen!!!!

I had to walk out of the shop cos I was so upset lol

Sorry only just seen this reply was having a bridesmaid fitting yesterday, it went awful!!!

I phoned around a few stores and they didnt have what i wanted, i then phoned the head office who was no help as they told me to back the original store, she gave me their phone number however it was a phone number for a haulage company so i googled the store and this point was quite annoyed so asked for the manager and she was ever so helpful and remembered me from the prevoius day and said she would phone all the stores and get back to me!!

O no, why was it awful ?

Well, I called Head office and they gave me a list of the stores that had the sizes in stock, so off I go calling everyone, only to be told, no dont have in stock, it is an old database type thing they use so has not been updated.

Well I must of rang every store in the country. Managed to get 2 of the sizes I needed put on hold, cue lots more phone calls, even my boss got in on the act cos she see how upset I was over it ... and nope, no dress for my third bm.

My mum went to the BHS in the hight street by her work and they had it in the final size I needed, but was being held by another customer

So, I have to go a whole new route. I am not getting the dress I wanted anymore (sob)

Umm.... theres Peridot green dresses on ebay.... dont know if they are the same style.....

but theres various sizes..

Can't really help but I sympathise - I love the green dresses in BHS but also struggled to find them, and they don't appear to be on the website. It's odd really as they seem to have loads of other colours. I'm always being told that green is really popular so why don't they take note? I opted for Coast in the end, but the long dresses are much more expensive (I've opted for short ones). Good luck (from someone who went crazy spending every evening trawling the internet for green dresses).

Thanks teehee, they came up when I was searching for the dresses I wanted, but I have such bad luck with ebay that I tend not to buy from there!

I only had a few of the o its such a popular colour comments, the comment they all seemed to make was o we have it, but in cream... er no thanks, I have decided on my colour scheme lol

Going to a bridal shop today to get the girls measured etc and my mum has seen a dress that is near enough a match to the one from BHS, even has the diamante broach detail on it.

Fingers crossed that it is the same green. I know I am prob being a bit precious over the colour but it took me so long to decide on a colour that once I had decided I couldnt imagine anything else.
