BM Dresses - how long before it's considered a "rush order"?

Wherts2b, 13 January, 2012 at 15:07 Posted on Planning 0 3

I get married in June and despite best intentions of being organised, I still haven't got my BM dresses sorted! It's not because we haven't tried, I'm just so damn picky! Anyway have seen 2 potentials which have appointments over next few weeks to try on.

I just wondered whether they will order them normally or consider it a rush order because it's less than 6 months notice and charge more?

    Hi There Smiley smile

I have the same problem with being pickey. I only have two BM's who are my best Friends and we have decided on two Alfred Angelo dresses. One has been tried on and the other is being tried on tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow we can finally buy them Smiley smile hurrah.

I am getting married in July and have been told by various bridal shops that i shouldn't leave it longer than the begining of feb as it takes about 4 months to make the dresses then we need time for fittings.

Hope that helps a little bit time line wise, Gem x

Thanks Gem. Oh no and you're July!! I really need to get them ordered don't I. When I booked an appointment for next weekend they asked when my wedding was and didn't seem particularly concerned or say anything. Fingers crossed! xx
