Bobbed hair inspiration

Whilst I am slightly biased, there is nothing boring about bobbed hair. Dependent on the back of your hair (i.e. if its inverted) you should be able to get your hairdresser to give you lots of height & body. I agree with your hairdresser in that your OH wants to marry someone that looks like you not someone with a completely different hairstyle.

I don't have many ideas myself but as I also have a bob I'll be following this post to see what ideas you girls have to share.

I also agree with hairdresser. Can't imagine having extensions or something completely different on the day. I want to look like me x

To have a straight bob is my dream, it will look so nice with maybe a side tiara or a sparkly clip. Also look amazing with a birdcage veil if you are considering that.

I have my hair cut in a bob but I'm too lazy and accident prone to venture near the straighteners so I leave it curly / wavy and it does what it likes. It looks alright most of the time but I'd like it to be a bit more designed on the day. I still want the same sort of look I have normally. I basically want the Stepford Wives version of me!

The problem is sometimes when hairdressers manufacture curls they can looks weird. Maybe that's what your hairdresser is talking about? I don't think you need to worry, you will look like a bride on the day once you have all your accessories and bits clipped in, and you will look like you!

I find that my hair looks a bit limp after a while - even with product!

Yes hairdresser said a lot of girls have hair extensions for one day and look totally different - definitely want to avoid this as OH has said don't be dramatically different!

I'm going to stick with my usual - sleek and shiny. I have my hair coloured and do like to have extra highlights put in depending on my mood/time of year etc, but always "classic" if that makes sense. The only thing I have done is to choose a "safe" block colour, rather than the foils I have been having - it means I don't have to worry about where a stripe of blonde or red ends up on the day. It took us 2 or 3 goes at getting the perfect colour, but now we've got it we can relax a bit!

But as far as the cut goes, I'm sticking with this - I've had a bob all the time I've been with H2B - he loves it, I love it, it is ME, and I don't want to be anything other than the best of ME. A couple of people asked if I am going to grow my hair for the wedding.....why should I? Do people with long hair get asked if they are going to have it bobbed for the wedding? Do brunettes get asked if they are going to go blonde for the wedding?!!!

My hairdresser will give my bob a little volume with heated rollers, just so the tiara I have extravagently purchased sits nicely, but other than that, sleek and sassy is the way forward for me!!!

What about this? I have straight thin boring hair and had my hair trial and with a bit of volume at the back, it looks fab. It wont stay all day but can hope at least till the photos are done lol
