Booked our photographer!!

How exciting!! When is your wedding? It seems like we are at a similar stage in the wedding planning - we've set the date, paid the deposits on the church and venue, and are seeing our potential photographer tomorrow evening!

Can I be cheeky and ask what package you got and how much it was? We've seen a few photographers and their basic packages are all over £1000, but we want a package that includes an album as well so will be paying at least £1200 if we go for the guy we have an appointment with tomorrow.

Are you having a videographer? This was something we really fancied, to capture the bits we won't remember! I've been looking at prices, and they're almost as much as the photographers!! xxx

Ours is 11th Oct next year, weve paid the deposit on the venue tonight and the church will be paid on friday. Its all very exciting it seems like its all coming together now!

Our package is £1200, we have him from me getting ready right through to the first dance, and we get a mounted pic from earlier in the day bought to our reception for the guests to sign. We've got a 50 page album instead of 30 because its a friday wedding. We could have made it cheaper by not having extras like the 2 parents albums and things but they seemed like nice gifts. We could have also down graded the album to get the price down. The price was actually a bonus as we'd already pretty much decided that we wanted him, but when we checked him against others we had seen at fairs they wanted £1500 and went home after the sit down meal and didnt do any of the extra bits!

No were having a videographer, were not too fussed and our budget dont stretch that far, were quite fortunate to have few friends that are handy with cameras so are just going to ask them if they mind doing a bit of amature.
