I'm sure the professional togs here - especially the women - will love the fact the posters insinuating they are sleazy - unless the posters wedding pics were, infact, taken by some dodgy fella in a mac whom he met in a pub.....

    Woah!

There are quite a few Hitchers who have done these (quite often with women togs not that it should make a difference a professional tog is a professional in all types of shoot) and they have been well received & perhaps most importantly has been a great confidence booster for the Hitcher. Just putting in a different point of view.

    Umm that was very dramatic!

Quite a few of us have had boudior potraits taken. Mine were taken by my wedding photographer, a female and very professional. I think it depends on the type of photos. I would not care if my photographer showed them to aquaintences in their professon. Hell, I'm on their website in a sheet! But the style of photos I wanted and which my photographers leans towards are not sleazy in the slightest.

I may be wrong but I think the problem seems to be the photographer your wife chose and the type of photos she posed for. Don't tar all with the same brush.

Crazy thing to post and almost sure its a troll, howver I can also say I shot one of our brides for her husband and he reacted exactly this way. Give me a 'show down and complete mouth full' on his wedding day when we turned up to photographer.

Boudiour shoot was down 6 weeks prior, she had gift wrapped it and given it to his best man on the morning of the wedding to hand to groom. When we arrived at church, he sounded me out about it. Service went through and then he took bride aside and let rip. Did ruin the day, bride cried most of the day and was hell of an atmosphere.

My only advice is make sure your hubby to be would defiantly like this type of thing before going ahead.

    Huh

That cant be a serious post sorry if it is but i dont think boudoir pictures are the bad!! i think they are fab if they are that 'bad' they have ruined your whole day then i think maybe the issue is with yopu and not your poor wife

Cant you just think of the fact she has saved you a fortune on porno subscriptions?????? If they are that bad you have reacted like that then they must involove more than a bit of nice lingerie????

I'm hoping to do this for my H2B for our wedding day, I'd like to think that I know him well enough that he's not gonna react this way. Just got to decide how or who to give them to to pass into him as I don't want anyone else even to know about it. Bit worried if I give it to mine or his brother to give to him my H2B will get drunk the night before & open it in front of others!!! My worst fear. I might leave it with him under strict instructions to open it when he's alone (tell him it'll make him cry if he opens it front of anyone).

sid i wouldnt worry about this. you know your hubby to be well enough to know what he'd like in a photograph. PLUS, the tog is not going to do or suggest anything thats going to make you feel uncomfortable OR make your bloke feel uncomfortable. Not all boudoir pics I have seen have all the gals with their baps out or wearing little knickers.......a woman in a satin robe can look just as alluring as a lass in her subtely lit, soft focused, bra and knickers......

have a think about what your OH would like to see in a photo of you, and remember, sometimes your eyes alone say it all Smiley smile

oh and have a good natter with your tog too Smiley smile

Well thank you for your advice. May I pass a bit of advice to you...get a divorce! You obviously hate your wedding day, your wife doesn't know you very well and you have severe jealous issues. You got married and not giving up your soul to each other.

If my photographer shows HER friends my images than I'm glad to say I looked great so I'm very proud of them. She is also the web designer and printer so darn I choose my photographer wrongly and could have been shown off to more people. pi** off.

I think its a little strange a guy would join up just to say that!

im am considering it but the professional photographer i would use is my sister in law who i am very close too. i think my H2B would prefer it to cufflinks!! ?

My ones are very tastefully done but a friend of ours (a man no less, oh ah!) which show absolutley nothing unappropriate. Subtley sexy. Your poor wife was trying to do something nice for you and whether you would have preferred it or not you ruined your wedding day for it. What a waste.

the fact a photgrpaher has pics of your mrs on file..... if he or she does - I'm sure photogrpahers dont have enough space to keep every photo they take on file........

come down of your high horse.... your wife did something for YOU. Accept it.

well i had never heard of such a thing til i joined here. I said to my OH how some people do then as a gift for their H2B. He was surprised and couldnt understand why you would spend mig money on a few photos. Personally Im of the same opinion! I'd rather put the money into a weekend away, or some nice underwear. I think it would have a better result for me.

I think its utterley disgusting to hire someone to take photos for your wedding they put an idea in a womens head, we can make you look lovely, do wonders for you esteem and then have the audacity to sell them to the married husband afterwards. Shame on those photographers that do that.

and you wife DID NOT do the above!

Troll definition:In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. In addition to the offending poster, the noun “troll” can also refer to the provocative message itself, as in that was an excellent troll you posted. While the term troll and its associated action, trolling, are primarily associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels highly subjective, with 'trolling' being used to describe many intentionally provocative actions outside of an online context.

With reference to above - how many brides can say these days that they can "offer their husbands-to-be something that has not been offerred to anyone else before"? Most newlyweds have lived together for years or even have kids together!

May i add my h2b is catholic too, and he was the one to suggest this as a gift and his mother came with me and they are really quite firm on there beliefs. i think you need to join the rest of the world in modern times and start seeing your wife as a woman. if you were her first then have you thought that these photos may have made her feel better and more relaxed with you as she would have not been so nervous. i think you may have a problem with more than the gift she gave you.
