Boudior Shoot

Liverbird, 28 March, 2011 at 12:35 Posted on Planning 0 8

Got my boudior shoot on Friday - eeek!!

Booked it a year and half ago (!) and now it's finally come round and I am wishing it was further away! ? Still not lost all the weight I wanted to, but am one and half stone lighter than what I was, which is something I suppose.

I'm sure it will be fine but anyone have any last minute advice, tips etc to keep me from panicking, please?!

Ta muchly!

    Have fun and smile!?

Honestly you will love it! I did!

Don't worry about your bad bits I am sure your photographer will know the best way to photograph you!

Thanks both! The TOG seems very experienced and has a great website with before and after images which are really inspiring, so hopefully she will be able to work her magic on me too!

FutureMrsC - can I ask, did you get your images on disk or in a photobook? I have a choice, but not sure which to go for - it makes no difference price wise?

I found that I was so "choreographed" that there was no room for dodgy shots. You are told exactly where to place each bit of you and I really enjoyed it - despite not expecting to.

I would go for the images on a disk and print them yourself.. I actually have bought some prints and photo's of mine so I am going to make my own little album for my OH.. I saw a really sweet one on not on the high street that you can have personalised!

I was totally choreographed to so i wasn't in any dodgy angles! If you look through my old posts I posted a couple of images of me last week from mine!

It is brilliant I can't wait to be infront of the camera again on my wedding day (this time dressed tho!!!)?

Choreographed sounds good, though I have visions of tying myself in knots now - co-ordinated I am not! ? Did you find it hard to pose? I'm not very good at sultry, think I will get a fit of the giggles!

FutureMrsC - just had a quick look for your pics, they're FAB! I hope mine come out half as good! Thanks for your advice, think I will probably go with getting the pics on disc, then I can do what I like with them.

Am kinda looking forward to it now!

Honestly don't worry you won't be like a contortionist!? Fits of the giggles I did that, it actually made for some funny pictures and really natural! Just remember to relax the first few pictures I felt like a rabbit in the headlights but that soon faded!

It was great I would do it all over again.. One thing is pack your bag the night before I did and still managed to forget things I wanted to take! Oh well good excuse to go again!!!?

My tog told me not to worry at all about what my face was doing. occassionally she asked me to smile but mostly she just snapped away while we talked or I thought nice thoughts!

Made me feel much more confident and comfortable about being photographed as normally I'm a bit phobic about it.

I've had to do shoots for my dancers portfolio. You will naturally be nervous at the start, if you were'nt you'd be a prfessional! Relax. try & enjoy it, think who you are doing it for. Look straight down the camera lens not at the person taking the phot & think that you are looking at your groom. That way you'll get your natural come to bed face that he's used and loves and wants to marry. also dont worry about your body, he wanted to marry you not the size 0 version of you! Enjoy the shoot! ;-)
