I do not know where you are located, but if you'd like to look at my work, I do have a promo currently for a desk print+photo session. The desk print makes a fabulous gift!

If you'd like, have a look at the site via the Utterly Divine link below, in my signature.

I promise you have nothing to be afraid of, and your hubby will be over the moon!

It's difficult to find a photographer who specializes in anything due to low demand ( other than weddings )

I run a separate site to my main one for boudoir ( sussex boudoir ) but still have to cover other areas of work.

Would you be prepared to travel to Dorset? Myself and a few hitchers can recommend Teri_M of Murakami Photography who has a sister site http://www.murakamisecrets.co.uk/ - one hitcher travelled from Glasgow for Teri!

Happy to show you my slideshow if you'd like to see an example of their work.

    Karina,

Have a look at my site and if you are interested, drop me an email or just call!

It would be lovely to meet up if you are ever in MK, otherwise.

That would be me! Teri's work is fantastic and I felt it really important to love the photographer and their style of work so definitely shop around and make sure you like previous work they have done before booking them. I've never seen anyone elses work that I liked so the travel was worth it. x

Going back to the original post, something I'm surprised nobody else noticed...

"for my h2b as for his eyes only wedding night gift"

Why racy pictures for a wedding night gift? Surely the real thing is better than photos, however good they might be?

    Hi

I wanted to reply to this post as I went for my FYEO shoot yesterday in Chelmsford. I went with my sister and we were both pretty nervous. Neither of us are a size 10 and were concerned about stripping off in front of a complete stranger but having done it, it was awesome!

The girls were fantastic, so professional and relaxed and that's how they made us feel - they know exactly what they're doing and their studio is lovely. We only paid £138 for two of us, which includes access to our online gallery plus one free print but that was a special offer.

I can thoroughly recommend them - we were on such a high afterwards and it's very near the train station so easily accessible from Kings Lynn.

    Good luck!

    Rosie x

I am loving this idea more and more. I am not a confident person though and also not sure I will be able to afford it Smiley sad Will have to look into it a bit more over the next few weeks

I had a photoshoot done with FYEO in Tunbridge Wells and despite being rather old and a size 14/16, the ladies there made me feel very confident and the pictures came out very well. Extremely tasteful and nicely done. I got a bargain from lastminute.com - £49 for the shoot and one print. I have since bought a further 5 prints (very expensive but I'll only do it once) to take on honeymoon.

One of the reasons for doing this is that I loathe having my picture taken and I hoped it would give me more confidence in front of a camera, in time for our wedding day. It worked.

Aj - no, the pics are a lot better than the original - they have kindly airbrushed the cellulite away!

That's fake though. I love my b2b the way she is, and if presented with photos that showed all the perceived "imperfections" taken away, then it wouldn't be "her", if that makes sense?

Sorry and all that ladies, but all these fake airbrushed/photoshopped pictures you see in magazines don't show real women, and that's why so many people have issues about the way they look, when they're trying to (or told they have to) attain a standard of perfection that is not actually physically possible without surgery or computer.

Thanks for mentioning this. I just looked on lastminute.com and they are still doing them! My understanding is that you order a voucher for half price and when it turns up you book your session? I might go for it today. Do you mind me asking how much the extra prints are?

May2Be, yes, that's how it works. Have to say, the Twells people were just great - It was raining cats and dogs when I went and I looked like a drowned rat when I got there and they were very kind indeed! The extra prints are horrendously priced - I suppose about £50 each. I looked at it as paying the same price as a washing machine but lasting a lot longer.

Aj - fake? Possibly, although the photos aren't photoshopped to that extent. I still have bingo wings, wrinkles and a podgy tum, they have just removed the immediate imperfections. I look very much like me. Is it any more fake than wearing make up? Or not wanting to be photographed in my glasses? I don't know, but I don't think so!

But that's what the clients want. striking the balance between too little or too much photoshop is what in part makes an excellent boudoir photographer.

    Is this too much?

Or this? Does this make my image fake?

How about that regrettable tattoo and the vaccination scar that they didn't have a choice over?
