Bra Advice

MrsEAGtobe, 12 December, 2013 at 11:58 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi Ladies,

I really need some advice and/or recommendations please.

I'm in need of a bra/bustier that is strapless, low back which will give me a boost. But the bra not being to high up on the breasts. I'm quite small chested and after having two children & I'd need that little help! My dress is Maggie Sottero 'Ella'.

I'm hoping I'm not asking for too much.

Thanks x

Have you tried John Lewis? If you go to their lingerie department, they have professional bra fitters that will be able to provide recommendations.

    Beautiful dress!

Could you not get cups sewn into the dress?

Think this topic has been covered a few times but anyway.. Iwas also having trouble finding a bra to give me oomph. After much searching round shops and getting measured as sizes 30B - 28F I gave up and went online. I was a bit worried as I always try on bras before I buy them. I ended up ordering about 4 bras from fig leaves. They've got a pop up personal shopper thing which is great and means they do all the browsing for you. Returning the unwanted ones was no problem at all. I ended up keeping this one http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product/GO-6288/Gossard-Super-Egoboost-Strapless-Bra/?size=&colour=Nude which does me better than anything I tried on instore.

If you're still looking have you tried http://www.butterflycorsets.co.uk/Product/List/Bridal_Lingerie as we stock various different styles, from lace bustiers to steel boned bridal corsets. Hope this helps.

Depending on your budget, have you tried Myla. They used to specialise in lingerie for those of us with a smaller chest area. I believe they currently have a sale on at the moment too.....

My dress also has a low back. This is the bra I'm wearing:

I have really small boobs but I love newlook bras! Even have one for my wedding, strapless and lovely shape and padding.
