Bridal Glee dresses?

EJ93, 23 July, 2018 at 20:58 Posted on Planning 0 5

Has anyone ordered dresses from Bridal Glee? I have seen bridesmaids dresses on there that I love and are within budget, but I am a bit wary of ordering online from a website I have only just heard of. I have tried googling reviews but can't find much, although what I have found has been positive.

Have any or you ordered from there or have any experience with them?

Thanks in advance!

    Hey,

I've not heard of them before, they are in America right? If so, I just did a quick search and found another forum with some reviews on - all good! The link is below:

Also good reviews from this year on another forum:

I would probably go for it, but pay using Paypal or Credit card to protect yourself.

    Hope this helps! X

Thank you so much for your reply! I've been fretting about it so much but at this rate I am out of options ? I am a bit concerned about my BM not being able to try them on either. What if they hate them? One BM suffers wkth bad appearance related anxiety so wouldn't wear it if she didn't feel comfortable but my budget just won't stretch to 5 shop bought dresses ?

Yeah, shop bought is ridiculous! I'm being a bridesmaid for my friend in August, and we looked at shops - they wanted around £150 for the dress plus £100 for alterations!

I'm having 6 BM's for my wedding, and I knew straight away it would be an online job - got their skirts from Amazon for £25 each!

She ended up buying from JJ's House (which are really nice btw).

Ask for your BM's measurements, then check them against the site's dress size - bear in mind it's American, so they are 2 dress sizes smaller.

If in doubt, go bigger - it's much easier to take a dress in, than make it bigger.

You can always get adjustments made at a local tailor. I bought a dress online a few years back and it needed adjusting, and I got it done in about 3 days for around £25.

Maybe send a picture of the dress in mind to your BM's first, that's what I did. As soon as they said yes, I ordered! If they aren't sure, go shopping and get them to try on a similar style.

    Good luck! X

Thanks ? all my bridesmaids agreed on the style that I chose but some only did so half heartedly, so it looks like I now have 2 of them in a different style they originally liked and have tried on, and 3 of them in the one from online. At least if the one online fails I will have 2 bridesmaids happy in dresses they like ? its interesting you had a good experience with JJs house, as I read a lot of negative reviews about the dresses not turning up so I was a bit put off from it ?

Yes, the dresses are lovely, although may need a bit of adjusting - mainly because I think we all went a bit larger just in case!

Also, I ordered some material samples from Mix Bridal, and they came really quickly, and were good quality. Lots of people on here have used Mix Bridal with good experiences too.

So you have plenty of back ups Smiley smile
