Bridal Shoe's - How hard can it be to get a pair [:@]

Mrs Poon, 9 March, 2011 at 10:32 Posted on Planning 0 7

Morning Pep's,

Im not getting married until October so have plenty of time yet.

I have decided to start looking for my wedding shoes as I am due to see my dress maker next week for a fitting of the base of my dress. I will have to take a pair of my own shoes with me as can't seam to find any wedding shoes.

My dress material will be ivory (more cream than yellow). I really like two pairs of Benjamin Adams wedding shoes (Cruiz & Liza). Really struggling to get them via a shop.

I am going to central london with my Mum Saturday week to look around Oxford Street.

I am looking for a closed round toe shoe in ivory. The heal can't be any higher that 3.5 inches otherwise I will be taller that my H2B.

Can any ladies helpwith department stores that will stock this style. Must be closed toe as its an October wedding and don't want cold feet (no pun intended, lol).

Thanks

My shoes are lovely (well I think so!) they're brand new - never worn because I've decided they're too high for me- already. being 5"9 I'll be taller than my H2B wearing them! They're 2.5 inches. I'm going to put an advert on the for sale forum in a min if you fancy a goosey!xx

    Hiya

I don't know if it helps but these are mine. Got them from John Lewis. They are round toe with a 2.5 heel and they are made by Rainbow Club. They're called Sylvie. Have a look at Rainbow Club's website they've got some really nice styles. These were £75 x

Rainbow club as alreasy mentioned, and if you're after 'skyscraper heels' take a look at irregular choice shoes. they have their own site and also stock styles in 'Schuh' branches. I'm after flattish shoes and think I've found them at irregular choice.
