Bridal shoes- where are yours from? ARRIVED! Updated with flash :-)

22 August, 2013 at 18:44 Posted on Planning 0 53

Hi all!

i really had my heart set on the Rachel Simpson mimosa shoe in ivory but now I'm not quite certain that they match what else is going on! I've looked high and low for some vintage peep toe ivory shoes but can't find any anywhere that I like apart from some other Rachel Simpson ones that I'm a bit 'meh' about! Did anyone else have any similar that they could help me out as to where to get them from? My dress is a tea length dress so they have to be pretty awesome! X

Thanks :-)

I have a pair of rainbow clubs (Simone) and also a pair of leopard print KG's for the evening. I tried on a few tea length dresses and my RC's looked amazing Smiley smile I went for a longer dress in the end but they did look good with the short.

Have you had a look at Etsy? They have some pretty ones...

    Etsy - £66

They are from Malaysia but the seller has really good feedback and the postage is only £10!

Etsy - £125 [but are custom made and you can choose your heel height]

I'm shoe and leopard print obsessed so it had to be done Smiley winking I might dye my rainbow clubs a different colour (so they are less bridal-y and I can wear them another time) and wear leopard print all day for the wedding, haven't decided yet Smiley winking

    I have two different pairs.

One from Carvella and one from Kurt Geiger. Both really comfy so might not need my flat evening shoes after all!

I went looking for shoes today and couldn't find a thing! Must admit I am a little picky though lol I want not too high, not flat and nothing too glitzy and the only pair I liked cost a small fortune! Good job I've got a year lol

These are mine to wear with my tea length dress. They're from Next but I think they're last season now.

They're really comfortable and I know I'll wear them again. They ticked all the boxes when I bought them and I even managed to find a wedding dress to match ?

Awww I think you need to have the shoes the same as your mums!!... and another pair that you like too.

I bought the dress to match the shoes which I bought to match this:

I'm not entirely sure I got my list of priorities in the right order! Thankfully it worked out though.

    Icklefee - I love those.

I had a tea length and had these. Not ivory but a silvery/champagney colour.

Beautiful shoes! If I wasn't saving my pennies for my 53 cake toppers that won't actually be topping the cake I think I'd be having a second pair of shoes Smiley winking

I think they're gorgeous! I can't really see anything in the pics as I'm on my phone but if they have marks I would send the seller a picture.

If you send them back they should be covering postage or they may just offer you a bit of a discount?

If the clips cover the marks, I'd push for a partial refund tbh!

Hahaha! I lasted from 11.30am to 10pm but they were killing by then! I had to switch to sparkly flats.

I think the adrenalin must get you through a bit though because I've worn them since and I can't last nearly as long!

My shoes and veil arrived today, I've had a sneaky try on while OH was making dinner but am now waiting impatiently for him to go to the gym so I can have a full on excited parade around the apartment in them haha.
