I posted a while back that I had bought a preloved dress and couldn't fathom out the bustle. The seller couldn't remember as she never saw it being done up and the CBM instructions didn't add up in practice (couldn't find any ribbons to tie it up).
Anyway I took the plunge and phoned the original bridal store and explained I have my dress and may need some alterations/additions/help and could they assist and they said "no problem, I didn't have to buy from them in order for them to help me out" as long as I had plenty of time to turn it around. I told the lady I assumed they would only help with gowns they had sold but they were so kind, my faith in bridal stores/humanity has been restored.
Now I will get my day in bridal store with my mum which I assumed I would miss out on.
