shoosh, 24 February, 2011 at 10:59 Posted on Planning 0 27

Hi, I hope everyone is having a nice day...

does any one have any ideas on where I could get some reasonably priced dresses for my bridesmaids? I am on a very tight budget and feel like I am just banging my head against a brick wall.. thanks for any help x

Im sure someone else will say this soon - there is a lady in Birmingham that makes dresses for around £35 - £40 each. She is called Hiyunkitty on ebay, heres a link:

    https://stores.ebay.co.uk/huiyunkitty

Nope - I went in the shop to try some on so I had a feel for them but my rents live there so wasnt an issue. I'm now going to just email in the order though with the measurements and she'll post them to me!

Lots of other people have used her and there have been pics of her dresses and they are fab.

Hi Shoosh, I ordered my BM dresses from Huiyunkitty along with a fair few of us on here and she is fantastic. ?

I simply picked the design, sent it to her and she made the,...it was as simple as that. Obviously it's a gamble that you have to be willing to take but my BM dresses are stunning and my BM's love them.

I rang the lady on Tuesday about a dress my cousin wants for my wedding and she was very helpful. I will most definitely be buying a dress from her fro my friends wedding in August. Her phone number is ****, and the web address to her ebay shop is: https://stores.ebay.co.uk/huiyunkitty/

Hi again, thought of another option... I nearly got my bm and wedding dress from oxfam, they have amazing bargains and styles/sizes colours etc online and most of donated by deisgners

worth having a look, you would then only need to pay for any adjustmenst if needed

Just to make you feel better....I have 4 BM and I'm getting married in just under 3 months and I still have no dresses for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? However, I went high street shopping in Bath yesterday and found the perfect dress for £75 each in a little boutique. Unfortunately the colour I want won't be in the shops until the end of March so I really will be cutting it fine. I promise you that you will find something in your price bracket, it just takes a good bit of rummaging around x
