Bridesmaid dresses??

Michelle.75, 11 July, 2008 at 11:06 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi Everyone

I have finally found the dresses for my FOUR adult bridesmaids, which I fell in love with as soon as I saw the photo. The trouble is they cost £165 each dress.....ouch!

Does anyone know where I can get something the same but a little cheaper, around £100 each or less. The colours can be either brown or vintage rose/dusky pink??

Here's a piccie....

Any help is greatly received??

Thanks guys.....x

They are so pretty, and look even nicer on! But yes....very expensive, to expensive for me. If I had two bridesmaids I would splash out but four....no way! lol

I have tried looking on the web but can't find a dress maker close to where I live, I don't want to have to travel to far, I live in Oxfordshire...

    Thanks

Oh I have also tried Coast and Monsoon with no luck, I do have a while yet so hopefully something will come out in the shops, I just would rather get that bit out the way sooner rather than later, as this is the dufficult bit to me.....trying to please four completely diiferent girls...Mmmm!! ?

These are lovely - but you have to buy the underskirts separately which bumps up the price a bit, they're available from the same site though

I paid £90 each for my bridesmaid dresses , from a small independent bridal shop , she adapted them to how i wanted , no good to you i'm in the north west.

I know it's an obvious one but what about Debenhams , also they are lovely dresses.

Have you asked the BM's if they would contribute a little towards, split the cost and you will pay for some black shoes or something?

have you found a shop that stocks them ? or even better can your dress shop get them in ?

My friend has 4 bridemaids and the shop did her them for the price of 3. Or find a shop and be cheeky and ask for a discount - they'll be making a good profit on the 4.

My dresses were about £150 and the girls are paying for their own shoes etc

You'll need to trawl through the good old fashioned yellow pages for a seamstress I would have thought, I couldn't find any near me online but there are lots that just don't have a website (or even know what the internet is!). I would be very surprised if there are none at all near you!
