Bridesmaid dresses

cantwaittobe_yourwife, 10 February, 2013 at 20:24 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi all

Just wondered if you had any suggestions on where to look for bridesmaid dresses?

I have been to some bridal shops but not found any I like. I did find one on the dessy website, but when i saw it it was terrible quality.

?

I got mine from an ebay seller, brand new but easier to see lots of different styles rather than going from one retailer to another.

If you're happy not having a 'typical' bridesmaid dress then browse clothes shops for dresses and good prices.

Debenhams do a section of bridesmaids dresses too - I managed to get mine in the half price sale!

BHS also do some but they aren't in all stores, check out their website to see their range.

If you are looking high street rather than bridal shops then Debenhams or BHS both have wedding ranges. There's also Coast and Monsoon and Phase Eight. What sort of style are you looking for? I got mine in a wedding dress shop - it's out of the Ebony Rose collection. A bit more than I thought it would come to but was hard to find what I was after anywhere else.

High street high street high street!

Or, if you have the budget for it, you could look at some high end bridesmaid lines - I loved a Jenny Yoo dress, or Ivy & Aster, but my bridesmaids ended up choosing J Crew (they live in the states and Canada).
