bridesmaid dresses

conway13, 16 October, 2014 at 16:59 Posted on Planning 0 18

I am looking at adult bridesmaid dresses for my bridesmaids who are 35 & 50. I am finding it hard thou with my budget. I dont want to spend more than £100 on each. I have looked online at all the hight street store like bhs, debenhams, john lewis, monsoon, hof and i have not seen anything i like at all. This seems to be harder than when i got my wedding dress.

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from groupon last week for the grand total of £25 each. They are the multi way dresses that you can wear 15 different ways. I think the down side was there was only a choice of 3 colours. X

What colours are you looking for?

I bought mine 2 weeks ago from Monsoon. I found that dresses I thought I'd like when I'd look on line I didn't and ended up getting some I'd initially discounted.

You could take a look at some more expensive ones and see if you could then find them on ebay or gumtree?

What kind of dresses are you looking for? What colour/style etc?

I was a bridesmaid earlier this year and there were 6 of us ranging from 13-37 .. we all wore strapless chiffon dresses and the style suited all of us!

It totally depends on your style and what the BMs will feel comfortable in!

Oooh have you got a pic 2BMrsB? Coral is what colour I am thinking of and it would be great to see an example of something I can get on the high street!

Sparty, we are having Coral too and got ours from Coast. In the sale, so an additional bargain! Worth having a look to see what they have as they do lovely dresses.

    Hi Guys,

I have 5 bridesmaids and cost was a huge factor.. after loads of research I am getting mine from Sexyher.co.uk.

They get the dresses made in China I think... BUT they have a showroom in London where the shop is accountable for measurements and ordering etc so if they come back and they are not the right design / measurements etc (things we all worry about when ordering from abroad).. they are accountable and get it sorted.

My bridesmaid dresses are costing £65 per dress... then Ill have to pay alterations on top if they gain or lose weight I guess....

My meeting with them is in 2 weeks and then 4 weeks for the fittings for the bridesmaids.. Im happy to report back and let you know how it goes but so far all of my questions have been answered promptly and they seem good. They have a huge range of dresses that you can get in any colours.
