Have you tried high street stores? A quick search for blue bridesmaid dresses under £100 on Debenhams website brought up 18 results. They do both these sizes, and a range of designs.

    Where are you based?

My bridesmaid and I went to London for the day last week, must have been round 30 odd stores and found nothing we liked in the colour we wanted - I really didn't think we wanted something that odd but guess I was wrong! lol anyway the next day my BM text me to say she had booked us an appointment with a small shop near her, we got there and the 2nd dress she tried on was perfect. The lady who owns the shop is so lovely and is also doing all the alterations for free. She a sole trader so the shop is small but she does advertise on FB - she trades as LA Bride Essex. Hope this helps Smiley smile

    We're based Guildford and Brighton.

They don't strapless and we tried debenhams but nothing was right.

We went to Quiz (they have their own shops but also trade in debenhams, john lewis and I think house of fraiser). We also got two different styles of dress in the exact same colour.

If you not opposed to buying online, DIY dresses is where I ordered my bridesmaids dresses. May be worth a look.

I bought mine from eBay and they are completely perfect and look exactly like the picture.

Seller even put a size guide up so that you can make sure that you order the right size.

They both liked this dress from Quiz but its a bit too sparkly on top for me.

I have gone for the infinity dresses like the two birds ones. I got them from the website Etsy and have cos me around £70 each including the postage from America. Best thing about them has been that as I am having royal blue the makers provided me with about 10 different shades of royal blue. Bridesmaids look lovely in them and will be able to wear them again after the big day (I have even ordered myself one for the honeymoon). We are also thinking of getting a little diamante belt to just bling them up a bit. I went and looked in the traditional bridal shops and originally had a budget of £200 a dress but couldn't justify it with how lack lustre most of them were!

Depending what style, material, length & type of blue you want. The first one is £50 could be dressed up with a satin/sparkly belt:

    Hi all,

Seems like you all have fab ideas! Anyone know where I could find dark red/burgundy dresses from that don't break the bank? We would prefer shops in which they can try stuff on as they are different shapes and sizes!

    Many thanks!

Cat D- I'd suggest starting your own post for burgundy BM dresses. (I'd suggest BHS, Debenhams, M&S, Monsoon, Tesco wedding, TKMAxx though.)

Which version/shop on etsy did you go for? They have a few but some look really thin and see through so wanted to get best quality one. Do you remember the brand name? Thanks!
