bridesmaid dresses

Miss-KEM, 11 April, 2015 at 15:29 Posted on Planning 0 10

Just wondering where everyone gets their bridesmaid dresses from (for adults).

I'm having two adult bridesmaids, 1 is a size 12-14 and the other is a size 20-22.

Wanting either a light/baby pink or dusky pink colour and floor length.

Really struggling to find something I like on the highstreet and now considering bridal shops.

just wondering if anyone has any suggestions and if anyone with similar colours could you flash please.

thank you

I got mine from quiz, The dresses look awful on the hangers but beautiful on my girls!

I have a size 14, 18 and 24 and while quiz only go up to a 20 the dress had enough stretch in it to fit them all!

    How about these?

Not sure what style or material type you want, but BHS have a sale on (as do debenhams, but couldnt see any pink, full length ones there)

I went to a bridesmaid shop called Just Bridesmaids - they have a website with what designers they use. They are based in Canon Hill, London.

My girls were both really busty, and a size 16 and a 24. We had to go bridal shop in the end, the high street dresses we tried just didn't work for both of them. We went for Alfred Angelo dresses

They come in a stupid amount of colours!

How much did you pay from bridal shops if you don't mind me asking?

A lot more! I think they were about £225 each, although I cant remember for sure. My bridesmaid dress from my friends wedding was about £200 too. They chose to put half each in and have proper dresses, bless them.

I'm going to try Wed2B first. I'm not sure if I'm mad about any of the styles (Giselle and Lucinda are my favourites I think) but it really depends on my BMs. It's also where I'm hoping to get my wedding dress so it would be nice to get them from the same place. No idea about colour either! Again, it depends on my BMs. BHS also has some really nice styles.

If you're willing to buy from

    a) online

    and

    b) overseas

then have a look at The Daintyard on etsy (google search, it'll come up on search results). They sell the twist wrap infinity dresses that you can wear hundreds of different ways, in all lengths and colours. I bought three midi length coral BM dresses for my differently shaped bridesmaids and they look fab on all of them, and you can let them choose how to wear it, how they feel most comfortable. Fantastic prices too, I paid about £120 altogether for three dresses, including shipping Smiley smile

I love the ronaldy joyce dresses as i love the pink colour they do but think that might be a bit more than we wanted to spend.

I went to my local wed2b shop a few weeks ago and all of the dresses were quite clingy - would prefer more floaty.

Love the multi way dresses but not keen on any of the colours available at the suggested link.

happy to buy online/overseas if the supplier is recommended.
