Bridesmaid dresses storage

*Loula**, 10 May, 2012 at 07:23 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi, everyone

I now have all 5 of my Coast BM dresses. Absolutely gorgeous ?. Just a quick question - my wedding is not until July next year. I have a large quilt cover that they will all fit in and I have space in a wardrobe for them, do you think they will be ok stored in the cover for that length of time?. They came in a plastic cover but the assistant in Debenhams said to take them out of the plastic. Just hope they will be ok. Thanks.

I'd buy dress bags for them, rather spend a few quid than something happen to them.

I was told (when I bought a preloved dress) the best way to store it would be to buy a plain white cotton duvet cover and put it in that. Not any dress bags or anything, as the plastic can make the dress sweat or react. Where as white cotton lets the material breathe, so if you have a plain white one I would stick them in that. Make sure they are all covered xx
