Bridesmaid Dresses - where are you/have you got yours from?

trace83uk, 11 February, 2013 at 12:57 Posted on Planning 0 18

Hi all

I hope the wedding planning is going well Smiley smile

Just looking for inspiration and wondering where you got your bridesmaid dresses from (or where you are planning to get them from).

I am after a dusky pink colour, so considering getting mine made, any ideas, suggestions, feedback?

Thanks

Tracey x

I really struggled finding my colour grey but Iv'e found a lovely one in phase eight and if you buy good housekeeping march 2013 ed. you can get 20% off , the lady in shop told me that!

I got mine from Debenhams in the half price sale - luckily I only had two bridesmaids to sort out.

They have some nice dusky pink ones in a few different styles by Debut and Phase Eight.

Thanks for the tip charlene, I've fallen in love with a dress from Phase Eight that I want for my hen do (to Ascot). I brought Good Housekeeping at lunchtime and it is in there but you have to use it by 28th Feb, so I know what I'll be doing on my day off this week!

    Hi Charlene :-)

I live in Devon - we're getting married in Churston train station near Dartmouth. How about you? [edit] just noticed your signature! Duh.

Ebay. I swear I have spent more money on Ebay for this wedding than anywhere else ? (I didn't get my dress there though!!)

I'm really pleased with the dresses I got, they're excellent quality for the price.

D.Bolt, my Dad got married at Churston Station last summer, it was beautiful! Are you going on the train & boat afterwards?

To the original poster, I got my dresses from the Coast outlet store, £170 down to £100. They have lots of punky/nude coloured dresses.

    Yes we are ?

There's only going to be 24 of us at the wedding so I wanted something interesting and different to do.

We found their bridesmaid dresses in Coast, Debenhams - it was £195 down to £95 with a further 20% off so about £75 ( 20% off offer in Debenhams on that certain weekend). They only had one so we chased a second from a Coast outlet and it cost me £95. Lush colour; mink/mauve. Keep your eyes open and make a day of shopping around, having lunch and wine!

You will have an amazing day, it was one of the few weddings I have been to where there hasn't been any awkward moments with nothing happening! Plus lots of great photo opportunities Smiley smile
