BRIDESMAID GIFTS?

Myself, I'm not a fan of times with non-personal personalizations -- meaning, the couple's names and/or wedding date. Anything like that would definitely get placed into a cupboard. Personal personalizations, though, can be okay -- one of my favorite bridesmaids gifts received was a beach tote with my initials monogrammed.

For my bridesmaids I'm considering between a waffle spa bath robe with their initials monogrammed or a silver love knot necklace. Might do both if the budget allows. I'm already paying for their dresses (they can choose whatever style or shade they want within a color family), hair, and make-up, so don't feel like the gifts need to be extravagant.

One of my girlfriends once told me that the best bridesmaid gift she ever received was a magazine subscription.

Ahaa thats a new one with the magazine subscription im paying for their dresses too so also dont feel the need for anything OTT

In the past as a bridesmaid I've been given Jewellery which I have ever worn again. For my bridesmaids I've got pocket sized mirrors and a mirrored jewellery box for my MOH. I didnt want anything smushy so i just had their names put on the front of them.

I guess it depends on how old your bridesmaids are as to what you get them. I was origionally going to get gift vouchers for the trafford center so they can get what they want but then they'll know how much you spend and one fo the girls lives in essex so i scrapped that one, i guess it depends if you want them to have something to keep to remember the wedding.

Mine are getting their jewellery necklace and bracelet which i am giving them the night before with a gorgeous card made by The Paper Doll......then on the day they will get a nice photo frame with an iou in for their choice of photo from the day....(the photo frame is also being given to mum and dad and another friend who is doing a reading)

I'm taking advantage of vistaprint freebies and giving them all cotton bags with their monograms, but then I'm getting different gifts for everyone. They like different things.

We bought our bridesmaids pendants from Tiffany with their initial on.
