Hooray for black. That's what colour I've chosen. I get a lot of funny comments about it. Including a woman who blatantly told me "oh no, that's awful - Black is for funerals"! Then she said it would be ok if the men weren't in black suits - to which I told her they were. Then she said "oh dear, well at least you could brighten it up with pink"!!!

I'm glad I've found someone else who likes black.

This is almost identical to my MOH's dress so obviously I love it but same as you, I only really liked it after seeing it on. So good you dont need to get it altered, we have been to see the seamstress tonight and luckily its only the length for ours too. x

Thanks ladies. I love black on bridesmaids, I think it's becoming more and more popular. It looks classy and stylish but yes, you always get the odd funeral comment!

I chose it because the thought of colour schemes made me dizzy. I'm about as far from a goth as possible and love pink but I'm going for the simple but elegant look with no colour matching stress!

Accessorising with diamante butterfly necklace and earrings and bouquets will be black and white (silk) roses with diamante. The men will be in black suits.

The lace-up back is fab because it allows for a little bit of fluctuation in weight.
