Bridesmaid Presents?!.....

beckixlou, 18 May, 2012 at 21:33 Posted on Planning 0 27

Hiya, Im reletively new to this & spend more time browsing & getting good idea's than actually posting... I Think this will soon change!!..

Im having 5adult bridesmaids & always had the idea of getting them all a matching bracelet that they could wear on my wedding day, however after having a good look I cant seem to find anything that Im keen on to suit them all (not to mention the cost of them all on top of everything else) Also I have read that alot of people would prefer to wear their own jewellrey that they feel comfortable in, & also give them abit of difference from eachother.

Soo... I am thinking of doing them all a big tote bag & personalising the gift bags myself.. Thinking it will be more fun to organise & probably mean more to them on the day?!

What are you getting for your BMs????

I'm thinking of their favourite perfume personalised and a bracelet and some other little bits.

I'm also getting them a personalised dressing gown for the morning (we're all going to have one, Etsy do lovely ones)

I've got my BM's a Thomas Sabo bracelet each. I picked a different charm for each bracelet, so they are more personal for them. They are my two besties, and since we've each had children, we made a pact to only buy for the little ones, so this is my way of being able to legitimately spoil them!

I will also be doing them each a little bag of small things to last them the night before, day of and the day after (anti-persp, make up remover, cleanser wipes etc)

Finally settled upon it, but I'm getting mine handmade kimono dressing robes done in lovely fabrics from a woman in London. They're made to the BMs measurements and are less than £25 each.

Going back to bracelets, my personalised bracelets are really popular for bridesmaids presents. A silver charm of their initial is added to any of my bracelet designs so they could all have a different bracelets if you preferred but they would all would be personalised.

Well I ordered little personalised bags from the funkydorey website as they are small enough to not be daftly large but still fit their gifts in. I have bought them each a necklace, earrings, and a compact mirror. I keep having ideas for other things, like BM tops for the morning when we get ready, perfume, chocolates etc, but at some point I have to tell myself no, I can't expand the budget any more lol

A personalised tote bag would be a lovely gift, then you can add little bits you know they will like if your budget allows Smiley smile

I was thinking of doing necklace and earring sets (that's what i have had bought for me both times i have been a BM) but i am struggling to find anything for under £50 per set in sterling silver (i want it to be something nice for them to keep!) so i might have to steal some of the ideas off here!!

No, that's what I'm doing for my three, also, what I received when I was bridesmaid twice. Think it's 'acceptable', nice to be in the financial position to do more, but certainally okay if not.

My 3 sisters are my BMs (OHs sister is CBM)

My sisters have always admired my pandora bracelet so I've bought them a bracelet and as their birthdays all fall before the wedding I've bought them each a charm too.

    Hi Beckixlou,

I have quite a few jewellery ideas on my site. Several versions of pearl bracelets, these can be personalised with a charm, earrings, necklaces and hair combs.

Feel free to have a look:
