I'm stuck on the same question! Was thinking about a little bracelet or ring they can wear on the day and keep.

I don't think you need to spend loads. I'm on a tiny budget so I've made most of there gifts. I've done Bridesmaid cups and tshirts, I've bought a pretty compact mirror and nail kit and a frame from wilko, I've also made a personalised jute bag (similar to the posh ones on TV) to put everything in.

For everyone else (family/friends who are helping or put money in) I'm buying them a gift in December as there's lots of 3 for 2s on and just putting them away till the wedding.

As their colour scheme is purple and silver, I am getting them Amethyst white gold necklaces, only one has pierced ears, so didn't feel right giving her an extra present. Tempted to give them of those fold up shoes as they're picking their own, and their feet might hurt. If I see any girly sets, possibly, but again totally different tastes, so we will see how much money is left after Christmas.

My bridesmaids will have a few bits...

    paerl earrings and necklace

    sparkly hair clip

    pashminas

    team bride tops (primark)

    personalised hangers (made myself)

a frame with a 'word cloud' in the shape of a heart to say thank you

The frames cost me £1 each and the word cloud thing was free. All in all I think it's about £30 each I've spent.

I will be getting mine some robes (not matching, just nice ones they can wear at home), personalised wine glasses and wallets.

I'm doing mine little treat boxes - mini bottle of prosecco, chocolates, and a few other bits. They all have very different tastes when it comes to jewellery and things so letting them choose their own accessories

My granddaughters are 8 and 4 and already like to shop! They like gifts but they also like vouchers for H&M, Claire's or ToysRus. Oh and glow sticks and light up balloons. I'm sure all of yours are of an age where you could get them a voucher.

I wouldn't say it's for cute photos, and they get to keep the jewellery so why would you buy them jewellery and then have to get additional items? Yes I've got mine jewellery but also other bits alongside it so they actually have little bags with several things in. At the end of the day, you don't 'have' to get them anything seeing as you have paid for their dresses and probably hair etc.

I think saying it's a gift for yourself is pretty rude.

I got my mum to pick them (and me!) up some matching silk robes when she was in Hong Kong. They're so cute!
