Brighton

pinkstar780, 16 April, 2008 at 16:43 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi ladies,
Im trying to get some ideas for my hen do, I can't go to Bournemouth cos my friends having her's there. Was thinking of Brighton, has anyone been there on a hen do before?
Can't think of anywhere to go that will be reasonable?
Want a meal then a cheesy club on a Saturday night, then stay in a hotel!

I'm going to Brighton for mine. I have a friend who went to uni there so she's choosing the bars and club.

You won't be able to get a hotel in Brighton for one night. They don't do that at the weekend, it's a minimum 2 night booking. We're staying outside Brighton and taxi-ing in.

    Hi Pinkstar

You can book most hotels in brighton for one night,as i went to brighton on a recent hen do,and not all of us could afford to stay at the hilton,i booked in for one night at the ramada in brighton no problems ?
But on the whole brighton is a great place to go we went to the adonis club at the babylon lounge....bluddy good night?

Off peak, yes. Not on peak. If you tried now you wouldn't get one night.

    Hiya

I normally use Booking.com,for hotels i stay at,and most of the time you can get a bookings for one night only at most of the hotels in brighton,it depends on how busy they are of course, but normally they are quite good and it will give you a list of hotels available, rooms etc etc.

I don't know when you're planning to have your hen do and if this would be up your street or not but one of the best weekends in Brighton is Pride. It's great. Everyone is so lovely and there are some great acts. http://www.brightonpride.org/ The only downside is that all the hotels etc will already be very booked up.

Choccywoccydoodah also do a Bar du Chocolat for 2 hours - pure indulgence - I got a flyer when I bought my weddin cake there.http://www.choccywoccydoodah.com/ The only downside is that it can only accomodate 12 people.

Hey im a brightoner and can assure you you'll have an awesome time there. a good website ive heard is www.partyinbrighton.co.uk

there are so many great clubs and a new £6m oceana has just been opened there and you can hire out sections, or booths or even VIP suites, so depending how many of you there are, might be worth looking at as you get free booze if you hire out the VIP room.

    HTH
