Brighton Hen Weekend....

Munchkin28, 21 March, 2012 at 11:28 Posted on Planning 0 5

I've just hopped over from Baby Talk xxx

Sooooo.... I am currently trying to organise my best friends hen weekend. There are about 20 of us all hoping to go to Brighton.

She isn't a drinker so need ideas for activities that we could do to fill the day.

Have any of you been to Brighton on a hen do. If so where did you stay and what did you do??

I have some dress up ideas, and imagine that Brighton will be fairly liberal...the 27 Dresses theme seems to be going down well at the mo, but I'm worried we will get turned away from the clubs in our "attire"!

Ideas for activities so far are pole dancing lesson, chocolate making class, cocktail making class, burlesque lesson, spa treatments.

Any help/ideas gladly welcome.

Thanks xxx

I am going to Brighton for my hen do - can definitely recommend Choccywoccydoodah if you're into your chocolate:

You can rent out the cafe for upto 25 people, works out about £20 a person - all you can eat chocolate and cake and everything they have and all you can drink too!! I spoke to them when I was in Brighton a couple of weeks ago and they said if you hire out the whole place (20-25 people) then they will play your own music and serve up wine / champers if you bring it in Smiley smile Lasts for 2 hours!!

    xx

You HAVE to have a play on the pier - you can't go to Brighton and not play on the pier! With fish and chips! ?

Second the pier and fish and chips!

Other than that you can spend so much time wandering around the Laines (I think it's spelt like that?!) shopping you won't need to do much else Smiley smile I've been looking at Brighton for my hen, came across this website https://www.crown-gardens.co.uk/ has lots of different properties and some sleep up to 24 people etc, might look expensive (that would depend on time of year too I guess) but if it's £2,000 divided by 20 people that's not bad and you'll be able to do your own breakfasts/cocktail making etc. Just check locations as some are a little further out of the centre which would be a pain for taxis into town etc.

There are nice places to eat down at the Marina but they don't get as busy as they're a little further out, so more likely to be able to accommodate a large group? My favourite is the Memories of India restaurant http://www.memoriesofindiabrighton.co.uk/, although it's sometimes a little pricey. The Emperor of China does lovely food too https://www.view.co.uk/restaurants/emperor-of-china-info-28960.html but it isn't as cool as the Pagoda http://www.brightonpagoda.co.uk/

    I love Brighton! ?
