Broken toe

If I think I've broken my toe is it worth going to docs. I can walk on it but it hurts a lot and my nail has turned black underneath. I can't see what they can do so is there any point?

Can you go to your Walk In Centre?

There isn't much they can do for broken toes, they just bandage them together. You toe nail may need looking at though.

As scarlett says theres not a lot they can do for a broken toe. I broke my big toe 6 years ago when we were moving in this house, and within a day I managed a rainbow of a bruise all the way up to my ankle. Then I dropped a kingsize mattress on it for good measure a day later. It took a while to settle down and heal and Ive got a knobbly lump on my knuckle and I cant bend it properly but thats the way it goes.

Hope the bruising comes out well and just rest it as much as you can. Chances are your nail might drop off, but another one should grow back
