They really are easy to make once you get started or if you know anyone that does crafty type things.

Here's mine, I just followed a tutorial on youtube

    This lady is fantastic: https://www.facebook.com/THBTH

I wanted a full cascade design like this:

and was quoted £200. Very reasonable!

She is lovely too, based on correspondence with her Smiley smile

Edit: To clarify, the above photo is her work, not just something I sent her

Yes that is why I attempted to make my own.

I got some brooches from eBay (a couple of job lots), I ask family to look to look out for them in charity shops. I also got some brooch pins, again from eBay, then I bought chunky bracelets and earrings from Primark. I glued the pins on the back to make my own brooches. It probably cost me £85/90 in the end but you can more than that for a fresh flower bouquet.

I always here if you want any help, private message me and I will send you my email.

(what part of Essex are you in? I am in Colchester every now and again if you needed help.

I can't recommend any companies but if you have the time, have a look around online at tutorials as they are fairly easy to make. I am going to make my own brooch bouquet and the most time consuming part is the collecting of the brooches and wiring them. Once that's done assembly should be fairly easy.

I can help with these; an option to keep the cost down is to have a bouquet which is a mixture of artificial flowers and brooches. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like a chat x

This is becoming popular - I've done a couple with brooches attached:-

But if you have the time and patience to collect your brooches beforehand, there are some good tutorials on how to make a full brooch bouquet as the others have said.

    Hi ,

I was the same, didn't really have a clue where to start but here's mine - ?

Used tutorials on youtube for wiring all the brooches and making the ribbon roses.

Most of the brooches either came from ebay or family, Can't be exact but probably cost me about £90 to put together.

Give the DIY a go you might surprise yourself !

You could make it as soon as you like so long as you store it well. You may need quite a few attempts to get it how you want it so start early, plus you may end up with scratched hands and sore fingers!

the best way to keep it when finished and while working on it, is in a plastic airtight box. Absolutely no paper in there as that will tarnish it. You can also get the little anti tarnish tabs really cheaply on eBay.

I was thinking about how to stop the brooches tarnishing if you want to display the bouquet after the wedding and came across this https://www.ehow.co.uk/how_5196914_clean-silver-plate.html has anyone done this?
