budget wedding - really budget !

My OH got one from China, she was generally looking through and saw one she really liked. Originally the idea was to just get it and see, it wasn't that expensive so was worth the gamble apparently its fantastic, so much so she hasn't even looked elsewhere now.

She is literally on her way back from getting it altered. So with an original £1000 budget for her dress she got it for a few hundred now so has more money to spend on her shoes which have apparently cost just over £400!!!

I ordered my dress from the Birmingham ebay dress lady (google huiyunkitty ebay and you should find her). She has mixed reviews on here, so I can only speak from my experience.I do have a dress from a bridal shop but I went off it. I found bits of 3 dresses I liked and asked if she'd be able to make it for me. She did, I picked it up yesterday and Im in love! Its just what I wanted.

Like I say I can only speak from my own experience but I would recommend her. She was very upfrontabout what she could and couldnt do.

China dresses are a bit hit and miss, and can take months to be delivered... so depending on what your timescales are this may not work.

Think about preloved dresses and high street like Monsoon or BHS?

The dress I ordered from China arrived damp with patches of black mould on it, badly made, all out of shape even though I had given my exact measurements. I have heard some success stories but plently more bad ones. Good luck xx
