Bunting... ideas/help please...

sophiaamay, 29 November, 2011 at 12:51 Posted on Planning 0 9

I am having a vintage afternoon tea stylee wedding and am currently scouring the internet looking for floral/vinatge feel bunting to put up at the venue.

My mother has said that she does not want to sew bunting but will "make it out of wallpaper".

I think that sounds dodgy and really want fabric.

has anyone had bunting at their wedding and if so where did you get it from?

Any ideas/help would be very much appreciated. On a bit of a budget so don't really want to spend a fortune!!

xx

This isn't going to help you at all, but we weren't going to have bunting at our wedding but the morning of the wedding, my husband went to the venue room to find one of the bridesmaids from the wedding the day before trying to work out how to take down the bunting that they'd had but because our room had already started to be set up it was going to be really hard. Luckily it was plain white with patterns on and went fine with our colour scheme so he just told her to leave it. It was a lovely suprise to me when I came into the room and I'm really glad we had it now.

But yes ebay is a winner for everything.

How much would you want for yours aarchk? I would be interested...

I've looked on ebay and a lot of it is quite expensive or 'mini' as its called. I think for little girls bedrooms... and were on a bit of a budget!

    Thanks xx

There's one called Bunting and Bows, but I'm sure if you search bunting in the search bar, something should come up! Or like suggested - I'm sure it would be easy enough to make!
