butter/oil stains in clothes

Whats best way of getting butter stain out of clothes - its been washed and hasnt come out....

    If I ever spill anything on myself I get a dot of Fairy Liquid (or similar) on it as soon as possible and then get it in the normal wash. Always works for me. Maybe try that now and wash it again?

    I'd try the Ace stuff - think it is called Ace stain remover now. I've got fat stains out with this - you may have to try it a few times though

    I also use washing up liquid on it, then put it back into the washing machine.
