I didnt buy mine from the states, but I know sometimes customs charges are added on when they enter the country and some of the big name designers will not allow dresses sold in the states to be sent here. But if you have looked into everything then I would say to go for it, I know they are a lot cheaper to buy from there

Today is my friday because im off work tomorrow!!! YAY!!

Im buying my BM dresses from America. From HouseofBrides. I've heard some mixed reviews about them but manly good. One thing to mention though, they say order your dress 3 months in advance but i would order it more like 6 months in advance!! Im ordering mine this september, ready for next September. They're £175 each over here but ordered from the US will cost me $220. MASSIVE saving!

From what i've heard, the import tax isn't a lot either. I think i remember someone telling they had to pay £60 for their dresses. I think if you google HouseofBrides, it will show you some websites where other Brides have written a review of their service.

I got mine from wedding dress online..... in the states and have to admit if i'd heard all the horror stories before i bought it i might not have got it....................excise was about £70 - £80 on top, (dress and petticoat cost under £200) I was lucky service was great and my dress was here in a week, and its (IMO) beautiful, fits spot on, although the corset back does help?
