Cabbage recipes that freeze well

Eirwen, 14 October, 2008 at 19:22 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 1

We got a cabbage in this weeks veg bag that is larger than my head! There is no way we will eat it all before it goes bad so I want to make stuff with it to freeze. I'm gong to do a veg lasagne, and a veg curry, but does anyone have any other recipes I can try?

Thanks in advance as I may have to log off shortly!

ETA I forgot to say, I think its a Savoy (a crinkley one?)

We grew cabbage this year and the only way we froze it was in potato cabbage cakes - mixed cooked cabbage with mash, form into patties and freeze. It wasn't with savoy (which is the dark green, crinkly one) though.

Cabbage soup - not the watery one, one with carrots, onions, other random veg, tinned toms & veg stock then blitzed
