Cake

We used serviettes, we also brought some back home as we had to post out to people who had been unable to make it but we still wanted them to receive some of the cake. We had a bit of trouble sourcing cake boxes, I hope that has changed now.

We had it on our evening buffet as the dessert.

We had a three tier cake and a cutting cake. All the cutting cake got eaten but I think people didn't realise they could help themselves to the actual cake! So we left it for the venue staff. My mam made it - lemon sponge and chocolate sponge. It was delish. Still jealous we were going straight on honeymoon so couldn't take any!

I've seen cake boxes in the little mag that comes a lot of the brides mags (can't remember the name, will look later if no one else does)... Think I'm gonna get some of those & send most of it home with people.

We are serving ours as dessert for the evening buffet but will also supplying boxes for people to take home as we also have a chocolate fountain
