Cake!

clairabella, 16 March, 2009 at 15:21 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi everyone

Please help!

I'm ordering a 3 tier round stacked cake. Need to choose flavours, the large one at the bottom will be fruit cake (the norm!) a it lasts. But what can I do different for the other two??? have had so many peeps saying they don't like fruit cake, and it's a bit heavy in the summer.

Any ideas I want something nice and light for the summer as hoping it will be a hot day in June!!! Choc is nice but afraid it would melt and I'm having ivory icing.Yum!

We had fruit on the bottom and then chocolate and then vanialla sponge all covered in cream coloured icing. Nothing melted or seeped colour - it was February, but it was very warm inside the venue. I only tired the chocolate cake, but it was yummy!
