Cake help please...

Three or four tier square cake to feed about 180 people. Lemon sponge.

Not bothered about any fancy icing but ideally I'd like really sharp corners and edges.

Budget is up to £500 but obviously if I can get it less than this then that would be a bonus.

Think I may have already contacted her but I'll check - cheers!

Marks and Spencers or Waitrose - both do really pretty stylish cakes in a range of styles with different flavour cakes as well. They also do cake bars so you can have a smaller cake for looking at and then they cut the bars behind the scenes to serve everyone else. I was amazed at their range and the price compared to individual cake decorators. You could prettify it with your own cake topper or ribbon

They're all too small I'm afraid and I don't think either do lemon. Cheers though.

Have you tried suppliers from Lincoln? Its only 25 miles, so I sure delivery wouldnt be a problem for them. I did a quick google search and got some potentials for you...

Are there any wedding fairs happening near you?

Thats where we found our cake lady, we loved her designs and her cake was amazing it was great being able to taste the cake and see some designs at the wedding fair plus we got to have a chat with her.

I think its hard looking for a supplier online
