Cake or cupcakes?

Im not a fan of cupcakes (reminds me of baking as a child and therefore is not special enough for me)

Not a fan of wedding cakes either so we having a cheese tower and a dessert/cake buffet filled with all our favourite desserts/cakes.

We had cupcakes for our wedding and they went down really well. We had a giant cupcake on the top for cutting but our friends had a small cutting cake on theirs. I've added the pics.

We're having tiers of cupcakes with a round sponge tier on the top for cutting. I'm a bit of a cupcake addict and everyone knows that so there was no other option than to have cupcakes for me ?

Im not that bothered about cake so I didnt have much input. My OH decided on having a tier cake and thneone he has picked is really nice and ties in well with our wedding as everything else is quite traditional.

We are also having cupcakes with a small cutting cake. I luuurve cupcakes, so it was a simple choice!

Another one here having cupcakes, but with a small traditional top tier for cutting. Hopefully will look something like this:

Since we're only having about 30 guests max we're thinking of having small individual cakes and a top tier, similar to this:

We are also having a cupcake tower with a single tier on top for cutting.

We're having cupcakes with a small square fruit cake on top. Two main reasons are 1. both OH and I love cupcakes and 2. my Mum is making them and she makes the best carrot cupcakes!
