Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww mega cute. Well done you. They are so flipping neat and perfect looking. Did you use Fimo or Sculpty?

How did you get them so perfect? I'm sad I know but do you not fancy giving yourself a little veil?!

I think Mrs C used Fimo and Sculpey. It's clay that you can mold into shape and put in the oven to set. I've only used it to make jewellery though so not too sure on the penguins. x

    6 hours of kneading!!

I used Sculpey III on your recommendation, got it cheap on Ebay.

I thought about a veil but I am not wearing one (although saying that H2B isnt wearing a hat either...hmm where to get a tiny bit of veil...)

Elephant Grey, Yellow and Pearl (shimmery).

I was toying with the idea of using the Silver instead of the Elephant Grey...

    6 hours! Ekkkk.

Did you do it in sections so the body and then cook then, clothes and then cook the whole thing again? Did you need to glue the bits together with that stuff I mentioned?

Nope, just pushed it all together, will bake tomorrow and if any bits fall off I'll superglue them back on!!!

Do you think the eyes look ok just as little holes?

Will be interesting to see if they do fall off. I suspect the wings might but try putting it in the oven for 5 mins and then take it out and push the wings again to kinda restick them before it all totally sets.

Eyes look fab. You could maybe use a felt tip pen in black to put a tiny dot on if the holes seal up in the oven but I don't think they will. Black eyes might look a bit scary so I'd just keep the dots as they are.

I LOVE them! Really I do, they are perfect (and to a serious perfectionist that is an achievement).

Waiting to see the result of the baking now as I have been toying with the idea of Moomins as a cake topper, although whether I have he patience do make these myself I do not know!
