cake toppers???

vikmast, 10 March, 2010 at 20:33 Posted on Planning 0 19

Hello everyone. this may sound strange but our wedding theme is based around england rugby, as we are both huge fans of the sport. We are having red roses for flowers, and a red and white colour theme running throughout the day, as I dont want rugby balls everywhere, as it is a wedding afterall!

However,as our cake will be iced white, two tier with red ribbon around each layer, we both want a rugby cake topper to make it unique to us, and are struggling to find one. We have seen several but are looking for one with the bride dressed in a wedding dress, and the groom dressed in the england rugby kit, not fussed how they are stood, for a reasonable price (ideally not over £50). If anyone can help me with this Id be so grateful

Thank you all in advance

Try sone of the ones on ebay!! There are some on ther about £35 ish and i think they will do them for you through their online shops! also there's the lego ones, although they're not my preference, you can buy the wee accessories for it and im sure there a rugby one there.

I know a lot of cake topper people - most reasonable priced are Stephanie at I thee wed cake toppers, or sarah at Just toppers.

Others include charactercreations, jillybeans cake toppers and i believe dragons and butterflies also do cake toppers also.

If you put any of their business names in google it will bring up their websites x

    Hope this helps xx

    Hi

I'd just like to say sorry I wasn't advertising a site I am just new to this and got very confused when I was posting last night? I have no idea how I managed to post to 4 different forums? I had been looking for a cake topper myself as I am on a really low budget for my wedding 27th June this year and I found that website. I thought it looked good but it seemed to be through Amazon so was trying to see if anyone else had used it - just seemed really cheap?

Has anyone used it www.myperfectweddingshop.co.uk. I assure my IT does not stretch to designing webistes and I'll be much more careful with posting in furure

    Cheers

    Amy

Look, I would guess people here haven't used it but have used many other wedding websites and I am sure its fine or whatever..

Maybe tell us a bit more about yourself and your wedding rather than this site and people might take you more genuinely..

Im really confused. After I posted my thread (if thats wot its called) about my search for a cake topper, there have been several other threads about advertising a website. I couldnt see any advertising when I went through all the posts, so could someone update me as to whats going on. And LauraSJ, did you aim that post at whoever posted the website?? Or did you want me to expalin more about my wedding??

Sorry if this makes no sense but I am totally confused

As I said previously, the website has only recently begun to exist on Whois - which is a website based on giving would be customers all the need to know info of a web address. I haven't used your/this site, but have had bad experiences with other websites so therefore only go with websites whois can help identify. Personally I wouldn't touch the website with a barge pole as we got ripped off by a website previously.
