    Ours is fom here:

    http://www.choccywoccydoodah.com/#items

It's like the rococco tiers only with a scattering of flowers in deep pink and some butterflies to match our theme and has a scroll-type banner saying 'Love is all you need'.

It's quite big tho as need to feed 200 so is costing £845! But I love it xx

    This was mine

top and bottom layers were milk chocolate sponge, middle layer white choc with lemon, but still looked traditional but was yummy, didn't cut the cake at the daytime reception as thought most people would have had enough food, so used it as desert after the evening buffet (bacon and sausage baps with spicy wedges) ? only ended up with half the top layer left to take home.

Quick question for cake HIB's and Brides too actually... is it normal to ask to taste some cake before placing an order? Did any Brides ask to do this? Most of the cakemakers we've contacted for our daughter say there's no need really to taste but it would be nice!

I would expect a bit to taste, if you're spending £££ on a cake I would at least expect a sample cup cake!

I would be calling up for a sample cup cake. The cake maker may ice them fab, but have nasty cakes. And bad cake will make you Smiley sad ?

we didn't taste before we bought, didn't even think about it tbh. When you think how much they cost a little taster would be nice, ?

yes! i had tastings with two suppliers - one person had amazing designs but the cake tasted slightly dry, the other person was also talented but not as experienced but her cake was out of this world! so it's always good to try because you never know! i cant wait for my guests to eat my yummy yummy cake!

and it was the cake makers who suggested i have a tasting, i didn't know whether it was the norm or not, and i didnt have to pay extra xx
