Cakes!

I was going to have this... until my cake lady let me down and put a downer on me liking this design

but then I went to a wedding fayre yesterday and saw this one... even my OH loves it and he has pretty much left the organising to me so him having an opinion on it was a big plus

We just went for M&S! 3 for 2, then the florist stuck a ribbon round it and placed some flowers on it, and I used my bouquet as decoration.

We're having M&S cupcakes, nice and simple and I know they taste good cos a friend of mine had them at her wedding. We're having a top cake too to cut which my Mother-in-law is helping me make.

This is ours. My step mums making it and to be honest i was a bit wary but i munched some at the weekend and it was absolutely divine!! We are also having a grooms cake made by Leigh Cakes. They also do cake/car deals if you havent sorted transport xx

This is my cake that I am getting made for me. It will have edible chocolates roses around the side but we are asking for the flowers to be removed from the top so we can have a bride and groom on a motorbike for a cake topper (we are both into moyotbikes, however he is the only one who has the liscense ro ride, so I am just a passenger, still like motobikes though).

We were originally having gorgeous cupcakes but the caske lady is emigrating so I've had to find an alternative.

I think we've decided on this now

@ KBS - loving your second choice! That's what we almost went for, but then OH saw this and didn't stop going on about it, so I went with him on it.......

I don't have a picture of my cake yet, but the current plan is 3 plain tiers from M&S, a cake stand from eBay, sage green ribbon around each tier, and some flowers for the lower two tiers, then my Lego bride and groom on the top:

I've been looking at the M&S website and all the cakes are gorgeous. I think we're going to go for the chocolate 3 tier cake!!
