Hi There, considering Cala D'or Yaught Club as our wedding venue for June 2011, just got engaged last week so under pressure time wise!!! As I am living in Ireland there are no flights to Palma during the winter months so it would mean flying to UK then onto Palma, due to work commitments this would be difficult but what i'd like to know is......does tjhe yaught club do exactly what it says on the tin???? ie the website!! And worth a visit to check it out!! Also if anyone had info on catholic weddings in local chruches it would be so so so much appreciated, thank you!!!

Hi there,

We went on holiday to Porto Petro in the summer and Cala D'or is the next town along. I personally haven't been inside the yacht club but it looks lovely from the outside and especially at night.

Congrats on your engagement! My sister got married at the Yacht Club and it was amazing!! There were about 80 of us all together who flew over. We all had a brilliant day. The staff at the Club bent over backwards to make it such a special day for my sister and we really couldn't fault it. The food was delicious.

I think she had a lady who worked in the UK for the Club who helped her plan all the extras and put her in contact with the suppliers and that really helped and it was all free so no extra wedding planner costs.

We were out there for 5 days and spent most of the time drinking champagne round the Yacht Club pool rather than at our hotel.
